Question A'PEXi S-AFC

Quick question for you guys...

Is the A'PEXi S-AFC capable of providing adequate fuel sys. control to a turbocharged 1990 N/A motor w/ the Turbo II's 550cc/min injectors? (Without any other electronic help?)

thanks!,

Oh, one other thing -- I'm planning on running about 12 psi of boost

Damn, 12psi? Don't you think thats alot for a N/A motor which is not made for any boost? Are you having any work done to the engine?

Talking

I figured on hardened stationary gears, race bearings, a balanced rotating assembly, and some, *ahem* _careful_ tuning . Other than the lower CR in the turbo rotors, are there any other differences (strength wise) between the two engines? SuperchargedRex runs 10psi of boost in his '88 N/A, but I don't believe he has an intercooler (I am going to incorporate one of these)...

As far as tuning, i'm still somewhat at a loss as to what's required fuel-wise (if anybody knows of a good ECU / 'Piggyback' unit for a 1990 N/A running w/ forced induction, I'd greatly appreciate the advice! ).

Well... whatcha think?

Thanks!,
Manolis

Just go all out & get what you really need, a Haltech. You can conctrol just about everything with that. Go ask some questions about it in the ECU forum, Haltech section.

Thanks for the suggestion -- much appreciated!

Anybody have a Haltech E6K they're interested in selling? :-)
