I am a little curious as to why apex seals are designed to fall out? i did a little searching and turned up nothing. if someone could shed some light on this topic i would greatly appreciate it. I have a couple of ideas of why it is done and how it could be fixed. i am just a little ticked off piston cars are more reliable, because i love my seven.

Why would you want them not to fall out?

well if you could prevent them from falling out they could perform like piston rings, right?
