Anyone running mechanical fuel injection?

Just wanted to hear some pros and cons about running mechanical fuel injection on rotaries. It's not a street car.

I'm not expecting too much imput on this here because I'm not even sure anyone on here has used it.

that's carlos gonzales. but it's an archaic system, and you won't be competitive for too long against the efi guys. you'll be at the mercy of the track and weather conditions. on one pass you could foul a plug and drop a cylinder and the next, run lean and melt a piston just from varying loads on the motor.

Not trying to be an *** since it's not on a rotary, but v-8 powered dirt track sprint cars use mechanical FI and typically there are local tracks with good ol' boys more than happy to talk about motors.

Carlos(OKY)Gonzales just ran 7.80's at the NHRA Englishtown event using mechanical injection.
His son post here sometimes so do a search if you need any more info. The shop is GNS Performance.
