air flow meter

air flow meter

i have a 85 gsl-se and was wondering if u can take the flapper door off the air flow meter and get more power, and if i can where on it do i take off the screws.

Now what would make you think you could just pull the DOOR off, don't you think they put it there for a reason?

What's next, removing the wheels from the car?

Taking out the rotors saves weight, and makes it SO much easier to cool the engine.

Wow, if you do that, you'd need no cooling help!
Remove the radiator and oil cooler at the same time and drain all the fluids!
That's save you some serious weight!

You can take it out, but the car will not run unless you install a standalone EMS, as explained by RETed.
