Question aeromotive pump hookup

Any body tried using an Aeromotive 1000hp pump in series with the stocker ? , I plan to do so using a -6AN line on the suction and a -10AN line on the discharge . The pumps are controlled by a HALTECH E6K (on at 5000rpm and 0 map.),and are to feed 850cc primarys and 1300 secondaries.

you are planning on using the stock fuel pump and an aeromotive ?? I think it would be a better Idea to just sump the fuel tank and run just the aeromotive pump.

Due to the design of the Aeromotive pump you cannot place an inline pump on the inlet! The Aeromotive's are high volume pumps and require at minimum #10 fuel ines on the inlet to perfom at their best. The only way you can run a pump inline before the Aeromotive would be to feed a surge tank from which the Aeromotive would then pull from. As Greg said before the best way would be to use a sump.

There are a few places that sell the box (welded triangle and the AN fittings) for around $50-75. I will have to look for one online and post the link. Other than that, all you have to do is cut a square out of the bottom rear of the tank and weld the "box" in. Its pretty easy once you have the already fabricated "box" but if you are gonna do it from scratch its kind-of-a pain in the culito. By The Way what year car do you have and what turbo setup?

Here's a little tip!
Instead of cuttting a square out it's much better to cut a couple of holes out with a hole saw so that when you brake the sump would always remain covered with fuel. That's the proper way to do it especially for a street car.
