ON ceramic coating the rotor combustion surface, I am more concern with it being able to take the constant abuse of combustion pressures as oppose to the heat..

The other week when I changed my starter on the FD, I accidentally touched my ceramic coated DP after the car was just driven 45 mins ago.

It was lukewarm to touch.

So I touched my MP that wasn't coated and nearly burnt my fingers.

So the conclusion is that ceramic coating does work IMHO.

coatings will reduce temps over all....however dont be to eager to coat every thing. I would spend time thinking about what creates the heat and what is negitivly affected by the heat ....ie. the lower intake manifold is directly above turbos????? I have my rotors and turbos coated aswell as my upper and lower intake manifold.

Thanks for reading my two cents
