Abel runs 6.793 @ 204.29mph !!!!!

CONGRATS to Abel and the crew for running 6.793 @ 204.29 today @ Englishtownraceway.

Abel Ibarra's incremental times: 60ft-1.036 sec., 330ft-2.862, 660ft-4.380/162.02mph, 1,000ft-5.688 Wow.

ABOUT TIME !!!!!!! Tomorroe should be interesting to watch.

The ALS on that thing sounds like gun shots, really loud ones at that. Its amazing how not too long ago there was the big competition to reach the 200MPH barrier and now a few cars are breaking it easy.

Bummer. He got knocked out in the second round elims... his reaction time killed him, not his driving, even though he got his car SIDEWAYS halfway down the track. But still, not a bad place to find himself. I think second round elims still gets you decent points. If he can get his consistency down, I think he's going to be one of the most dangerous competitors out there.

abel was saying something (after he was eliminated) about how the last minute tuning costed him the pass. something about he tuned it to run a bit more lean, then the clutch didnt grab or something and he almost lost control..
