550cc to 1200cc

I called RC Engineering today about modifying my 550cc RC injectors to 1200cc but they quoted me 175.00/injector..That is carzy!..Instead im gonna go for the BOSCH low impedence 1600cc..I can get those for 90 bucks a piece. Then i have to order the modified rail from K2RD.

Yeah, I never understood why some people pay more for something like that than a new injector. I've never heard one good thing about enlarged injectors, except maybe for the big wad of cash in the pocket of the guy who does them.

Yeah, $90 for the 1600's is an awesome deal. Just get the high pressure 255 lph pump. That's the one everyone usually gets.

The walbro pump numbers are GSs 340, 341, and 342, they will all work, just one of them has the bottom though, that accepts the stock filter and rubber mount, I think its the 341, I bought the the 340, which was actually a kit for 5.0 mustangs with forced induction, since the speed shop did not have any Mazda kits in stock, and charged 40 bucks more for the mazda kit. The ford kit worked fine, I just cut the bottom of the pump bracket off, and used the new filter sock, about a 10 minute project...Max
