403rwhp on apex rx6 @ 14psi

Well I just got back from the dyno and that was my best pull. my a/f was good up top but very rich from 4k - 6.5k.
max torque was 302. I should make more tq when I clean up the mid range but I doubt I will make any more peak horsepower. I still would like to know what my backpressure looks like with this turbo. I will try and post the graphs tommorrow. The ink is light and I hope it shows up. If not I will get Glenn to reprint it for me when he fixes his printer.

I have a LOT of FD dynos, and that is a very good number on 14PSI I think

Please post up the graph for us and make sure we can read it I'll put it on my dyno page.

Very nice. What is your timing at torque peak? Do you have a ported motor? If you post a graph try to get one with the AFRs.

Dynojet has a freeware program on their website that allows you to create graphs using your run data. This might be easier to do than getting a new printout and scanning it. Of course, I'm assuming your shop will email you the run data

ok once again, MY timing is 14-15 at peak torque. The motor is street ported. The graph has some problem spots that we are working out. Peak HP will probably not get any better but I should be able to make the curve higher in the midrange and smooth it out.

If you notice the spike at 4k, I believe this is where my boost went up from around .85 to 1 bar. I do not know why the step is there? It builds boost fine but only to around 12.5 psi. Then at 4k I get a little jump and it is flat the rest of the way. I did a chart of boost and duty cycle and wideband and rpm in the chart section, but I do not know how to upload this yet. It shows the jump in boost also. Wideband readings in car match trhe dyno pretty closely as far as raw #'s and trends match exactly. By this I mean the rich area on the dyno sheet also is rich on my log. We tried pulling fuel out but it never came up. This was the reason behind my other recent posts. I do not know why it is so rich there. We pulled fuel out and the car feel better that when we started but it is still in the low 10's.

anyway I will try and post all my mods as a sig later. Pretty much I have everything.

I would back the timing off a bit depending on how big the port is. Also it will build boost much faster then you take some fuel out. Its so flat bcause of the fuel. Go for low to mid 11's on A/F and you can usean EGT to watch temps as the timing is changed. Becareful of EGT temps above 800-850Degrees. Back timing off in those areas maintain A/F in low 11's and listen for ignition break up. I wouldnt run more than 14-15 psi max on Stock Ignition. Also keep an eye on Intake temps. PM me your list of mods.
