well it looks like it may not even be backhalved so I'd say low 7's would be damn good.

Sevens would be nice....
but I suspect it will realign the molecules of the engine into an expensive piece of modern art first. But if they do run 8's or better, good on 'em.
Note the 13b centre plates... you would want some real nice bearings jammed into them to keep the crank straight. Apparently Guru (of dogbox thread fame) have run one to 6 or 700 hp just on the motor.... but they actually know what it takes to keep a serious engine alive.
I'd recommend hunting around for pics of their Holden Gemini (late seventies to mid eighties Isuzu... dunno if you yanks saw that model) drag car - I think they went a long way towards farking the chassis with some BIG wheels up launches.

with four rotars should be aiming for 6 sec mark, well i would copy everything like abel's car because he is going hit 6 sec soon enough, and that's with a 3 rotor motor!

i notice that it has a electric water pump, does this have any advantages if it's a street car?

Try two big *** turbo's.

Keep in mind they're the first ones to try something like this so it's obviously going to take some development. I think 7's would be pretty impressive initially.

Funny, Abel's car is VERY similar to Siguel's!!

Want to bet who does the 6 sec first?

The guy who builds my engines is building that beast!

Make no mistake, that car is full chassis and is built to run into the flat 7 region!

AJC13B ............... the chasse in this car may very well be capable of running a low 7 with enough power but will the engine live long enough to produce the needed power levels ??? I would suggest it would need in the vicinity of 1400+hp at the engine to run those numbers. As Buzz siad earlier Guru have run these engines in testing and have found that with over 700hp at the engine they self destruct so unless Guru comes up with the improved stationary gears ect ect needed to help keep this engine together at the needed power levels realistically this car will be lucky to run consistently in the low 8's

And people that have pushed a 20B past 1000hp have had problems breaking eccentric shafts, and other people are making 1500hp+ and running 6s on them.

Just because one person has problems, doesn't mean everyone will

Hmmm if they GURU are making 600-700bhp on a 4 rotor I am guessing they are developing the thing in NA form?

If he tries to rev it like he does his two rotor then no wonder he is breaking stationary gears/cranks etc.

The stresses involved in a turbo charged car are different if the peak rpm is kept to a sensible limit, it is very easy to break things when being too optimistic about rev limits and not only that but adverse harmonics that can effect rotational components may very likley exist when using custom fabricated components and using multiple rotors........ this could well be the main issue??? Who knows. Unbalanced forces and out of control natural frequencies of harmonics will destroy the toughest parts at mid range power levels very easliy. Theres just too many things to look at but i hope they sort it out

Who does the balancing on their 4 rotor engine ?
