has anyone ever installed a 3 window bearing in rear stationary gear......if so can you explain....if i should take it to a shop(machine) will they know how to do it....is there any special modification that has to be done to the gear. thanks

Theres a channel on the bearing face 6-8mm wide and 1.5mm deap, it runs the circumfrence of the bearing. Just duplicate this on bearing housing in line with the oil gallery on the stat gear(housing). this will feed oil to the new windows when new bearing is pressed. very quicke lathe job.
This does weaken the gear so dont let them go to deap, 1.5mm is fine.

the channel that you are talking about is it next to the gears, when i look at the stat. i see a hole that goes to the hole on the bearing, are you talking about that hole. i don't mean to be a pain, but let them install the bearing then make the new hole....correct? yow email me at...wukdat@aol.com....thanks
