Is there anyone out there running faster with a stock carb? If you are I'd like to ask some Q's...

Here's a recording I got from the run... Geocities won't let me link directly to a file, so go to http://www.geocities.com/izzmus/images and click on "fifteen-two.wav". (If anybody can convert this to MP3 please let me know)

1-2 shift burnout at the rev-limiter (still at 8400 ), ~6000rpm launch (you hear the tape recorder hit the seatback at :34), shifts at 8,000 and thru the lights at 7600.

You want video? http://www.rx-7.org/events/Norwalk/2...deos/index.htm (go on, GUESS which one is "White Trash")

Max7 tooks some video of it this summer, back when I was still trying to figure out how to launch it, and still suffering along with the stock fuel pump and only running 15.7-15.8 or so, badly fuel-starving at the top of the rev range.

I'm not sure if I'm going to continue drag racing this car, we'll see how well it holds up to the winter.

Check out the tons and tons of RX-7 pics from that event, too... we had like 10% of the pit area covered with RX-7!

I'll take the blame for the videos, hehe
I just dump them strait from the camera, It makes it quicker for me to post an event. I always want to compress them, but never seem to find the time or a compression that everyone is happy with I prefer DivX but not everyone has it
