13B in a Z31 ??

Was it ever been done before ?
I'm wondering what kind of problems I would encounter trying to drop a 13B in a 300ZX 84 beside engine mounts.
Anybody knows if the transmission funnel is to small/low to acomodate the transmission ? Does the crossmember sitting to high for clearing the oil pan ? Would it sit too far so I would have to cut the firewall ? I have full access to a welding shop and my background in technical drawing would make it really easy to make custom mounts and oil pan.

Also, on a side note, anyone know what is the weight repartition of these cars ? How much does the stock VG30 weight and how much weight saving I should expect with this swap.

Actual plan is for a drag racing car, all motor !

Thanks
Rem

I'd go to a Z forum and ask.

If it works in a Silvia then it'll work in anything. But the real question is why? The FD is much lighter and manuverable. I'm a big fan of just about everything with an engine but I suppose that if it is possible then somebody has to do it...

I am with Toad. I can't figure out one good reason for the swap, other than to be original... all other aspects are disadvantages (performance, cost, etc)
