13B JC cosmo housings?

When using these housings, is it possible to run them with Series 6 plates, or with series 5 plates?

From what I understand, these housings are the pick of the bunch when buying new housings, so if at all possible I'd like to give these a try and see how they last, but does it mean I have to buy a JC cosmo block to use them?

I don't recommend using the Cosmo housings due to their exhaust port design and the exhaust sleeves they use.
