1000 HP+ 13B Turbo's...

It's seems there are quite a few 13B's stepping up (colon, pica, Nayeli and Rafaelito) with huge mph and unimaginable times especially those in puerto rico, just wondering what combinations are they running and port configuration?
What are the advantages of running Semi-PP over PP turbo or vise versa?
As well, billet cranks, are they essential for sustaining big hp or just sustaining high rpm?
Would appreciate your inputs
Thanks!

i think there is a thread on here somewhere , that goes into this ,
i think there is even a vid of a 13b being dyno`d at 1000hp+
Not shure , but i think i read that before
do a search for 1000hp 2 rotor , you should find this , it is pretty old though

Pretty easy- most are using Semi pports, tons of fuel and boost and a good tune and internals/seals. There's only so much you can do to a rotary to make power. It's keeping it all together and making it last that's the trick.

Like I said above- lost of fuel and boost! Nothing rocket science there, just takes money and a little know how.

billet center bearing cranks are essential, picture in your mind a rotating Eshaft bending under hi torque load, what happens to the rotors when they touch the side plates, and the Apexs wont follow the rotor housings, its a mess trying to get into trouble, it takes torque to make 1000hp at only 10,000rpm. these guys have been thinking for a long time, and probably got a pile of blown engines as high as a two story building. Thx Ron

The "Adriana is Back" Starlet last dyno was in the 900's at the wheels....that's over 1000 at the fly.......that seems to be the "reliable" numbers on 13B's....incredible though!
