TX High HP rotory build

Hello all!! First off, sorry for the long post I know this will turn out to be. I am brand new to the rotory life! I used to be a die hard V8 guy. Long story short few years back I bought a dodge diesel and fell in love with the unique feeling of a turbocharger, which totally changed my perspective on cars. I started fiddling with and before I knew it I had about 1200 ft/lbs of torque and almost 600 hp. As fun as it was, the truck still weighed about 6000 lbs. That's when a friend suggested an Rx-7. I did some research and just recently bought one to play with. Ok, so here is the fun part.

Here is what I have.
1987 Rx-7 GXL ( I think, it was N/A)
S4 Turbo II motor (stock) 47,000 miles on it. Not in car yet.

Parts not yet on the motor. (just sittin in the garage looking pretty)
GT45 T4/T66 Turbo w/ .66 a/r on compressor and 1.05 a/r on turbine.
3mm Apex seals
Full 3" exhaust with apexi N1 muffler
Cheap manual boost controler (got it for free)
Plan on getting motor full bridge ported.
Front mount intercooler
Stock ECU
Aftermarket turbo manifold (extra chrome for more HP)
Plan on buying external wastegate but not sure which one yet.

Here is what I want. I really want to hit the 500hp mark.
Is it possible with that turbo and a full bridgeport?
What size injectors will I need?
Can I manually adjust (using a laptop) the stock ECU or will I need to buy an aftermarket ECU?
Anything I missed??

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

do not use the stock ecu, it will run like **** with a upgraded turbo and injectors. also not much tuning can be done. Go with a full standalone, people have had good results using rtek, haltech, apexi power fc ect. rc engineering makes the best injectors. when in doubt get the massive 1600cc ones so you at least have enough fuel to go with the hi boost. Look into geting a wideband with datalog ablility. Apexi makes a really good boost controller 3 bar iirc, if I aready didn't have a 2 bar profec I would get it. I would find a series 6 uim/tb to use, flows much better and looks like the flu.

hope this points you in the right direction, there are quite a few guys running the power you are looking for. Find one of them and pick their brain.

Here is one problem you need to consider. The N/A drive train is not up to the task of handling 500HP very well. Things will break. You can swap all the TurboII parts (tranny, drive shaft, rear end, axles) onto your car but I wouldnt do that unless your shell is really nice. Probably better to sell that and find a turbo car that needs a motor.

You could probably get more specific help over in the 2nd generation section.

Thanks for your imput! As for the last post, the car is immaculate that is why I bought it. It had a popped motor and the guy wanted it out of his garage (he had 3) and I stole it for $500. I should have been more detailed, not only did I get a TII motor, I also have tranny and rear end. The suspension was already fairly modified on the rx7 as well. I will drop a thread in over with the 2nd gen area. Thanks again for all your help!!
