+1 the first one rocked. I went to the other ones even though my car wasn't ready in time. Now that I have moved to Indy there is no event .

 

I woulsd also love to see this one make it back. I went to two of these and liked the autox, vendors and just hanging out with other rotoray geeks (present company included)

 

bring it back so I will have to get a rotary power vehicle!

Well, 2008 is out now ... but somebody can certainly step up and work with Aaron on getting it going for 2009. You can count on the forum getting behind the effort to bring the event back!

I went to all three of them and I'll drive again from Minnesota to make more!

 

I went one year (2004 I think? Maybe 2005) and had a good time. This time, I would pay the $ for the track time.

Overall , a good, affordable event and a chance to meet like-minded people. gas motorbike in the hotel FTW

 

2008 wasn't going to be happening anyway. I've been working with Aaron already.

 

So is this a possibility for 2009 then?? I sure hope so. I only made it to one RR, and even though I was car-less, I had a great time. When I got home I immediately went out and started wrenching on the 85 GS out of jealousy.

Well 2 of my closet friends and myself attended 05` RR. It was cold, But we enjoyed it due to the love of Rotary cars and trucks. Made some new friends, And said hello to some i haven`t seen it some time.I`d love to see another one. I don`t really know if any of you have ever heard of a Gathering called the 3si Gathering, Its a 3000 gt/Stealth thing. Also in July 05` i attended it with another close friend. The Main Hotel was in St. Joesph Mi.
And the main part of the events were held at other locations within 100 mile raduis of the main Hotel, The Drag Strip used was at U.S.131 just outside of Kalamzoo, Mi. The road track was at South Haven Mi. Ginger Man Raceway, (i love that track) its a 1.3 / 11 turn track. And the Autocross was held at the Tire Rack facilty in South Bend, In. It was a Great time. The auto cross was a very tight curvy course right in front of the building. Its used by them to test the tires they sell. I can`t see why something like this could get all of the Rotary guys together, I know its a massive undertaking to get it all together, But i`am willing to do some footwork and get things rolling. Only if i know other are willing to follow through with there part, We should all try to find a good location where it may be. And make it a 4 event show, Drag Race, Road track, Autocross, and a Car Show.

i was just up in south haven michigan this weekend and was at hotel with multiple cars running at gingerman. i dont care if we do it here there or somewhere in between but i am absolutely still here and willing to help in anyway that i can to help get this thing going again for 09...

No, unfortunately the timing of the events never quite worked out for me. I've always been more of a sunny SoCal Sevenstock type of guy.
