Yo get a Supra dat way u own da streetz. Seriously, you're considering selling your car because it doesn't win you enough races, or make your dong feel big enough when you roll up to a stop light in it?

Your the one sounding like a ***. But at any rate be careful when going turbo, most JDM imports, or used TII motors have leaking crappy turbo's. And then you'll be just as slow as you are now. Well, probly not, but still slow.

first gens are faster, they just aren't as pretty and don't "handle" as well(as far as fwd goes). But Yeah, with minor mods, a first gen turbo will be a lot faster than a second gen V6 with bolt ons.

and a good mecanic too!

Forget the turbo II swap. You should just sell the GXL and take that money and purchase a good TII.

I was just about to ask the same thing. I paid 1.5k for a summer class alone. Just one class.

To the original poster: Don't doubt the 7, It'll come back to bite you in the ***. Just save up for the tii swap, port, and let the magic begin.

Honda's aren't much of a joke anymore, especially to us N/A guys (this comming from a guy with a SP). Just gotta keep ur hopes up. Every little mod helps, if not the hp, then in terms of reliability.

you're not fooling me or anyone else here, slick. it wasn't some random joke, you meant every word. your rapier wit is proof enough. you're telling me to get a life? am i the one throwing a tantrum and bitching about getting crapped on by a car with much more power than mine?

you know what? forget the GXL. forget the T2. get anything else but an Rx-7 or any other rotary, so you can go away and stop wasting our time here.

Step One: Learn how to drive
Step Two: Race a CRX,if you win, go to step 3
Step Three: Race a civic...if you win, sell your GXL and buy a TII or an SE and put a blower on it.
Step Four:Kill yourself street racing because you skipped steps 1-3 and bought an FD

Step 5: get a job that pays more, so you can save more than 50 bucks a month.

I am currently saving for a T2 swap. I can't have mommy and daddy buy it for me like most of you. I have to work hard for all the stuff on my car. After rent, and all bills I have $50 a month to spend towards performance. I was just hoping that what I had bought was going to at least let me beat some cars.

I have lost to many many cars. 93 Probe GT(not stock), 96 Probe GT(stock), Civic EX(stock), Accord EX(stock).......

Hopefully my experiences with a T2 motor will be better.
If you are loosing to a stock Probe and a civic EX, you car is definately NOT running properly....

well **** you too, nut face. I was trying to be helpful, but you're a self serving ***.

For the record, I bought all of my cars out of pocket. My 90 Mustang when I was 15, my 95 Probe GT when I was 17, my 94 SC2 when I was 18 and my FD when I was 20. I'm still 20.

Don't ******* hate on me because I did something with my life and make good money.

That statement wasn't geared toward you. I am very thankful for what you did post. Good ideas. I am glad that you have bought most of the stuff yourself. I wish more people would.

Sorry if you felt it was geared toward you. Thank you.

I can't wait until I can get a better job. But I am still going to school.

buy a TII, do fuel mods, some kind of fuel control, exhaust, WG porting, a FMIC, turn up the boost and you will rarely loose

and you will never loose to a ******* honda
