So my friend calls me up last night and asks if I can video tape him racing a SRT4 Neon that called him out. From what I was told by him and after looking under the hood of this Neon, he had the http://store.yahoo.com/ntnsracing/agogagtbabet.html AGP Garrett GT Ball Bearing Turbocharger Upgrade Kit. The guy and some other people said he was pushing around 350whp. He also had upgraded injectors etc… so the Neon decides that he wants to go off a 70mph roll!!!! I told my buddy that was way to high for a roll on, so the decided a 60mph roll, which is still high lol. Some runs were done off 50mph rolls. The Neon aveusly wanted to be in full boost.

But I have to give it up to the Neon, it held its own. My buddys Z06 has Intake and Headers. Enjoy the vids:

Had the races lasted more than a couple seconds it would have been even more embarrassing for that poor Neon. The Corvette just kept pulling.

The Neon got owned... from a standing start, it woulda been 5x worse since his turbo would take about 9 seconds to spool up!

THe only thing I can say about that Neon is that the element of surprise would work in his favor on most races I gotta say, I wouldn't even give a Neon a second thought if one was buzzing around me on the highway.

 

i've got some buddies with these lil neons. i think they're pretty cool cars for what they are... but it seems some of those guys don't know their place. haha now i have to go find this on the SRT4 forums.

PWNED!! ha ha, 95% of all srt-4 owners dont know their place. they have a highly inflated ego of what their car does versus other, much faster cars. i mean seriously this neon called out a modded z06, obviously he thinks hes faster than he is. lame.

 

the reason is, srt-4 owners are ex-honda owners. They just KNEW their hondas were the fastest thing on 4 wheels, and since the srt-4 is worlds faster than their honda, then it HAS to be able to crush anything on the street...including a z06....
