Turbo 1st gen. vs 05 WRX

I was out driving last night and came across a nice black late model WRX. It had the full exhaust, obligitary loud BOV, nice rims and "QATARI" number plates. We have a lot of rich middle eastern students over here. lol

So we pulled up next to each other at the lights and I could see the young guys in the Subaru are kind of looking at my 1st gen. with a stupid smirk of disdain. My friend said "nice rexxy" and they didn't even acknowledge him. I knew they needed to be taught a lesson but I was a bit worried about taking the WRX on from a standstill as I have some severe traction issues at the moment.

So the light turned green and it was on. Instead of dropping the clutch I just let it out slowly and fed the throttle in yet I got nothing but wheelspin so I short shifted into second. At this point he was about half a car in front. I slowly pulled ahead of him while pretty much fish tailing all the way through second gear. Once I hit third it was all over and continued to pull away.

I thought he would've had enough embarrasment but he wanted another go from a roll on the highway. I launched in third at about 5000rpm wich is right in the sweet spot. I honestly pulled so hard on him that it was over in a few seconds.

nice kill, get some wider/stickier rubber under her *** and take it down on the launch next time. Do I smell some drag radials for when you go out hunting?

A turbo in a car as light as an fb must be nuts. Good kill, that'll teach those morons for smirking at you !

It made about 200kw at the wheels on a Dyno Dynamics. Thats over 300rwhp on a Dynojet.
