It all started while I was warming up my 7 in front of a friends house. Just sitting there with the lights out freezing my *** off when a random car cruises by and revs at me. I just figured it was one of the many tards where I live and went on my way. I somehow manage to catch up to the same car at a light, I take note that it's an Escort and that the driver keeps giving me a nasty look. His lane closes up ahead so I just knew he was going to go for it on green. On green I take off and cruise next to him and laugh as I hear him nearly killing his car. I let off the CBV a few times and proceed to pull a couple car lengths on him when police lights flare up behind me.

Oh $hit was all that was going through my head when suddenly the cop does a U-turn and goes after some other guy! Had I been in my GTS I KNOW I would have gotten it then. Must have something to do with seeming like an old stock car.

The next race takes place just down the road after getting onto a highway. I'm just cruising at the speed limit of 45 since the Escort is stuck behind me when I notice that I'm cruising past an awfully familiar 2G Prelude. It was a guy from my old highschool that I don't think liked me or my GTS too much, and had never seen my 7. Out of nowhere he downshifts and takes off (as best as a 2G can go) so I do the same, but instead of going to 2nd gear I decide to give him a chance by dropping to 3rd. Boost builds and I shoot past him like he slammed the brakes.

I don't race my 7 much at all since I'm afraid of breaking it, but the car just felt so good in the freezing night. I love spooling 800rpm's earlier than usual!
Now if only I could run into some more Mustangs....
