ok so my friends comin home from wyotech next week and he wants to race me to see how his trucks running

trd supercharger
k&n intake
7th injector kit
trd 3rd member
fuel mapping system
ecu worked
his on board comp tells him it will run low 13's on 9 psi (i think psi wise)

my new whip
93 FD R1
apexi intake

i know ill absolutly rap him after say about 90 becuase his truck has a speed cut at 105 mph but he puts it in 4 hi and he walked all over his roommates VR4
so i dunno tell me what you think and ill post up later witht he results

Race him from a roll. That thing "should" have an uber amount of torque off the line...

 

i would think youd be able to beat him, i dont kow what fd's run stock.

 

FDs run mid 13s.

He might get you..but it will be close. On the top end you should catch up.

vr4s and FD have similar times.

 

the vr4 and the taco just got home about 1 hour ago were going to hang out the take a trip over to I-95 for a few runs late tongiht

 

they came home early

raced the vr4 about 30 mins ago and from a dead stop to 110 mph and shut down we raced on the highway he raped me off the line (AWD) but by the end of first i had my front bumper at his door the end of second i was bumper to bumper and then i had him by half a car to a car at the end of third.

im kinda scared to race my freinds taco becuase i was in the car when we raced the VR4 and the taco walked him off the line to about 80 or so so i dunno i think the taco will win no that ive raced the VR4 but well see

it needed the tranny properly torqued on the harness put threw the fire wall and one motor mount to be hooked on that was the hard stuff it needed the radiator and intercooler back on
the engine has claimed 20k on it but it runs amazing so no worrys im doing a comp test next week but i love the car and if you are going to a meet soon im planing on going to a few this summer id be glad to show you the stuff

There's a guy over on www.yotatech.com with a 04 Tacoma 3.4L Supercharged auto tranny with the same basic mods as the truck you are going to race. On a 2.0 pulley he put down 287RWHP and 330 ft lbs. of torque. He ran a 14.24 @ 93.71mph 1/4 in High 4.

You should be fine stock, but the Supercharged Tacomas are quicker than people expect.
