T78-FD vs. 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera
So im on the highway crusin in 5th gear about 60 all of a sudden i see a Porsche flying up in the rearview mirror. At first I think it is an older one. I addmit they did a good job changing the apperance on the new ones. So he gets next to me I look over at him hes in his about in his 50s just spent 90,000 on his new toy and wants to test her out. I down shift into 4th just to play around, he takes off and im thinking to my self I should have put it into 3rd. Oh well, punch it, spooools up and blow past him. Thats really all there was too it. Spool and gone. I thought it would have been a little closer becaue I started in 4th. When I look down and i was at 110 so im not sure what the top speed was at the peak. Shift into 5th and start to slow down. He catches up and looks over I wave as im getting off the highway. Another kill for the fd

Good kill on the Porsch NA. Nothing beats a good Porsche death story.
Down hill, tail wind, sea level, Mario Andretti driving.
This reminds me of the time we ran one of my buds 996 NA against another buds MR2 spyder. This is a great story as we had secretly installed a Venom nitrous oxide system on the MR2. It was just a dry shot with computer,but... LOL. According to the G-tech we bumped the MR2 0-60 time from 7.25 to 4.9 seconds. The result of the race was the MR2 put about four cars on the Porsche at start. I'd estimate the Porsche was in the mid to high 5 second 0-60 range. Later we blew up the MR2 and re-built the engine with forged pistons, a fancy cam along with a custom wet shot intake manifold. It was all good and fun. The MR2 was really never all that fast, but it was a good kick in the pants.

One of my friends has a g-tech and it dosnt seem right I think you have to get a very accurate weight and I know he puts the wrong weight in each time then show every one that his car is fast.

Agreed. I borrowed my friends for a week. Other than the fact I actually had chicks flirting with me at stop lights in it (one actually rolled her window down and asked "how are you doing?" I say "fine" she asks "is there anything I can do to make your day better?". Other than that, I thought the car was a big waste of money. It handled great, braked oK, and felt like it needed another 150whp or so.
Then again, chicks dont flirt with me at stop lights in the FD.....
