Sunday Fun, FB & 300zx

So my friend with the lightly modded 85 n/a 300zx and I went to the downtown airport to take some artsy pics of the cars, of course knowing that there would be some street racing somewhere on the trip. He found out that he had a bad ignition wire the last time we raced and fixed it so he was eager to run the 7 again now that his car is healthy. On the way back we finally catch a light on a 4 lane road with a median and I notice that about 3 cars full of people are staring and pointing at both of us from the other side of the street so we both know that we might as well put on a show . I tried not to spin too much (tires suck), launched at about 4k slipping the clutch. We were dead even through 1st and at the top of second he fell to my back bumper (i took it to 8k :p ) we shut down at about 70 and I had maybe 1/2 a car lead, similar to this picture.

The 7 Can't Lose! lol

you can buy an fb for a heck of a lot cheaper than you can an fd.

That leaves a lot of money left over for performance parts
