last night while coming back from a meet that just got rained out i came across an STI and a GLI that were both modded. I start to follow them but i went straight and they made a left turn, when that happened i made a u turn and tried to catch them. when i finaly came up to the STI he was waiting in front of a neighborhood for the GLI.

I pulled up next to him and ask if he wanted to run but he said he had 4 people in his car. He asked what I had done and i said just bolt ons with 10psi. (read sig for mods). His friend said something to him and we end up pulling onto one of our many dragways in south florida and get up to 40mph. I brake boosted and he honked it out. I jump on him and I continue to stay a half car on him till I shift into 3rd and pull away and continued to shift and get u to 120 or so. We both pulled into the u turn lane and I turned to him and said "I killed you bad enough that with only you in the car I would still win". I didnt ask what he had done but it was definately turbo back, intake and had to have a tune. possibly more. i cant wait till i get my pfc in and tuned

Probably at least 500, thats 125 lbs per person, more likely around 600 extra lbs of dead weight.

Although his response was a little harsh, I think the "We're all fellow car enthusiasts" excuse, though noble-sounding, is a bunch of crap, because-and believe me, I am not, not NOT a Honda owner-but every time someone suggests that they have ever even thought about owning a Honda, I think fans of every single other automotive brand make fun of them, and they are just fellow car enthusiasts too, right? Do you have to have approximately three hundred horsepower or some big name like RX7 or 240SX to be a "fellow car enthusiast"? Or do you just have to not own a Honda?

STIs weight around 3100lbs, so thats like 3700lbs :X not to mention a stock STi only puts down 230whp on a mustang dyno...and weights 3200-3000lbs with you in it. its quick off the line, but then it'll get spanked on 3rd gear.

ive owned a wrx for 2 years now and i dont regard it a highway roller (especially with the clunky heavy AWD). for where i live its was a reliable vehicle to have in the winter lol

ok first off the STI def. wasnt stock, it was loud as hell and shot flames which told me that it had at least turbo back with no cats and intake. He might have had a tune also because he stuck with me through my second gear till I shifted to 3rd.

im not gonna try to defend my self for the thing i said to him but when i pulled up to race him he was being a bit of a dick. there is a gas station not even a mile from where we raced and i suggested he drop of the passengers there for the 1 minute we were gonna be driving/racing. when i told him all i had was bolt ons @10psi his friend laughed and said somthing to him that made him race with everyone in the car.

most of the time i say DIG OR DIE when people want to race but i a m in need of a diff brace which i will be ordering once i get money. also i had a 220lb person, full tank of gas, and 4 cases of oil in the trunk.

I'm glad someone finally said that, because I was/am always being flamed for mentioning anything but a 7 on here. Nice kill. However, although it didn't seem to matter that much, the STi was at a weight disadvantage.

he has no interest in rotaries, just that we kill subarus all the time and talk about it and he had to defend them....thats why this is a 7 forum, and the sti boys have theres.....you wont see a i got beat by a subaru thread here. not cause it doesnt happen, but this is a 7 forum so we dont wanna hear about losses....hence"kills" section
