im just cruisin along hawthorne blvd in torrance going home and this new gto gets on my *** and then takes off and i was like what was that? lol so i mash out and catch him and we start running down hawthorne, which is not the brightest idea by far because its cop central but thats alright. we bob and weave through the traffic and finally end up at a light both in the front! YES! seperated by a vw bus and a new mustang gt behind me with exhaust i wait for the stoplight christmas tree. rev to 3k and wait. light turns green and were off! seriously the best launch i ever did, no wheel hop just pure grip!!!!! i beat him through first and second and in 3rd he started to pull on me pretty good. but then 4th came around and it was bye-bye gto. i couldnt beleive how much i pulled on him at this point it was incredible! we get stuck behind some traffic for a bit and then hit some twisties up in palos verdes and i must say this guy was a good driver but still could keep up with the fd! he was a cool as guy though from the uk. he knew all about the fd and asked if i turned up the boost, when i told him no he was shocked. it was good times had by all!

yeah they have the ls2 which is the corvette motor.(not the z06 one though) but its heavier than the vette i think.

i dont have too many mods but the gofast mods are apex intake with full exhaust (greddy ti, mp no cat) and a short shifter. but i have good tires and the goat had stock tires so im sure that helped me quite a bit.

 

damm i love kills like that. the kills im most proud of were g35, 350z, mustang GT (not the new one), altima se-r, f-250 turbo diesel with mods. u raced him down hawthorne?!! damm bad idea, but i woulda probaly done the same thing. u should bring your car to our hawthorne meet, sunday nights around 10pm at the shopping center on inglewood ave. and marine blvd. i think its a sav-on there

Oh and PV is so fun... but cops there too. A friend got pulled over on the way to PV man he would have gotten so rolled too. (Highly modified SR20DET).
