1st run...(no sauce)We lined up at about 40-45. I began breakboosting and Vetth8tr honked it off... on 3 I pinned it to the floor and we were dead even through 2nd and part of 3rd. I was finally able to start plling toward the mid/end of 3rd gear. I took it up to about 130 or so (not really sure) and let off. I couldn't see him to my side so i would guess I pulled at least one full car (maybe more?)

I pulled up next to him again gave a and asked him to spray me.

2nd run...(nitrous on)we onced again lined up at about 40-45 and I began breakboosting and I hear his nitrous purge I'm a little embarrased about what happed next lol. I was pretty nervous running him on the sauce( never ran a car with nitrous on the street b4) Well i let my nerves get the best of me and I jumped on the 2nd honk maybe a bit sooner lol. Realizing that I took a huge jump, I imediately let off and he finnished honking and took off without me. Again , sorry for wasting your nitrous, I'm sure it's not cheap.

After I caught back up to him i asked for one more run...

3rd race...(nitrous on) For the last time we once again line up at about 40-45 and he honks it off while i'm breakboosting. And this time I was able to wait for ALL 3 honks lol. Well again I was able to hold my ground it 2nd. I shifted to third and instead of walking away from the snake he stayed right there next to me. 3rd gear seemed to last a lifetime as neither of us were abble to pull on the other. Then 4th came and it happened... He started inching away from me I'm not sure exactly when we let off but he was able to pull about a fender to half a car on me.

Even though I lost the second run i'm very pleased with how my car performed. The cobra guy was cool and that made it even more fun.

I'm running a streetported T04R with supporting mods.
The Terminator had intake, exhaust, pulley,suspension mods, ported eaton, and a small shot of the giggle gas.

I hit a peak of 15.5

 

not a bad kill at all... the juice could not have been more than a 40 or 50 shot at the most... which is surprising because thos cars handle nitrous very well and most runn at least a 100 shot. I would have been nervius too lol don't sweat it it happens to the best. Get used to it tho cuz ur running with the big boys now.

 

Yup I found out it was a 75 shot but his bottle preasure was low so he wasn't getting the full pill. Maybe only about half of it.

 

How much boost was the mustank pushing?

 

I raced an 01 modded cobra with a 125 shot. He pulled me pretty hard . Of course, I had beaten him many times without the juice .

 

IRRC he said 14-15 psi

Ya he had it pretty much right on, He can breakboost like nobodies business. I heard the turbo almost spool up after the 2nd honk and I knew I was in trouble. The third time we ran'em I only got about half my shot. My bottle preassure was down since I had just sprayed through a full run. But that car is dam fast!!! I have ran a 600hp 350z and beat him by a good 3 cars, but we started from about 25mph.(prime for me to use my torque). But that lil rx-7 is a bad car.

My car:
Its mostly set up for the track with the 4:10's and its seems if I do get pulled its around my 4th gear, where he pulled me. I put about 460-470 to the ground (no dope) And on a full 75 shot about 586 to the ground. But I would like a rematch if thats cool maybe tomorrow or next week......It Will Be No N02 and it should be a better race.

are u able to run more boost on race gas? what kind of power did u make at 15psi?

 

you should be able to run 20lbs easy on 110 and you can probably still beat him even if he's on the nos
