Yah i own a protege and an rx7, whats your point? Turbo is going on the rx7 this month, so again whats your point? So I didnt go out an buy a twin turbo rx7 for my first car, its a bit hard considering insurance you moron. And nonetheles you still said that guy couldnt ride a bike for ****, he probably rides a lot better than you do. Stop getting your panties all in a little bunch because you cant face the fact a car can go aroudn the track better than a motorcycle, its simple physics get over yourself. If hte porshce thing didnt prove it, the Ariel should have, its a 4 wheel car that has similar power to weight ratios as motorcycles, and it won by 4 seconds on a track, 4 friggin seconds. Thats what you get with 4 wheels.

oh and an FYI, proteges are capable of a lot of power, and more than one person would agree with me on that. Don't go bashing a car just because it didnt come stock from the factory with 2 ******* turbochargers on it. And if you try making fun of 1st gen rx7s consider what they too are capable of, why do you think there are entire car classes devoted to it racing, everything has potential, whther you buy it with power or build it up, thats kind of the point of tuning a car you ******* ****, maybe you should be banned for obviously having no idea what the ******* point is of tuning a car, or doing modifications, I hate seeing people liek who who think cause they got a little cash and went and bougth a sports car they are the cream of the ******* crop, and again why dont you go out and prove you can take a car on the track video tape yourself destroying a modified rx7, or anything for that matter, the guy who started this showed proof that a bike couldnt get by him, why dont you prove you can.

 

BTW, I take it you are putting a V8 in there, or already did? Maybe thats why you couldnt outdo a bike on a track, you threw your weight balance off by stuffing a huge V8 in that little car. V8 conversions are only good for drag racing, and drag racing is lame compared to any track race. I've only once seen a guy who stuffed a V8 in an rx7 and didnt **** up the weight ratio between front and back, and he had to cut into the firewall and stick the thing as far back as he possibly could without sticking it in the damn cockpit, I doubt you did that.

I forgot to ask the driver when we came back to the pits. But he was amazed.

This track is a short one. Only around 1.4miles and 10 corners. Max speed straight is around 105mph.

We time our laps and there is no bike on street tires that would beat my time

We were like that for about 3 laps, then I let him pass and I did one or two laps behind him. He couldn't pull away from me.

He was doing laptimes 1m11sec and I was doing 1m10sec.

And again... no bike on street tires was faster around the course.

looks like a gsxr with a set of race fairings on.. Could be either a 750 or 1000 because they share the exact same plastics.

ACTUALLY formula 1 back in the GOLDEN YEARS used 4 cylinder turbo 2.0 and smaller engines that made 1000hp..

If hondas are slow its because they cant get traction or hook of the line. to much power for front wheel drive. also a NA civic with good suspension would destroy your zx10 on that track..
