They've run a 9.98 with a stock (only a new sprocket) R6. A bike with nearly twice that motor should be able to be a little bit quicker. But that'd be fun to watch, I'd bet on it.

if so, I think you should go back and read the WHOLE thread again. I never said that a bike would beat a car in a drag from a stop, or from a roll.
You must be confused angel, or confusing me with someone else.
The only reason I chimed in in the first place, was to give a reason why the bike wasn't able to catch the car. and AGAIN, that reason is only because they were on a track with little to no long straights, lots of curves, and it was a day they were out for FUN! They weren't racing for $$, not racing for a championship, and who really pits bikes against cars in the first place. I know it wasn't me......
and again, I know bikes are fast, faster than 95% of the cars out there, just not able to hold the lateral G forces that a car can at speed. Sure if they were cruising at 5 mph, it'd be a different story.
And also, Cruiser posted the times of the fastest cars and bikes. Just due to the track layout, the laptimes say it all..
anyways, you really seem to be stuck on this, so go ahead and keep ranting on....
as I said before, I hope you hit a reflector while you're hauling **** down the freeway. Oh wait, that's right, you don't drive fast in traffic.....
