Believe it or not, the handling is not all that bad. Its at least as good as a supra in my opinion. Totaly different from your standard mustang. Everyone that I let drive it thinking otherwise came out with a totally oposite opinion. I don't think there is anything common in the suspension between a cobra and gt except for the front lower control arms. I also have 13" rotors up front stock. The car is not nearly as tossable as an fd and it understeers more, but its nothing that a little torque can't correct. I have almost 500 ft lbs at 2000 rpm and it stays flat to past 5000. Even though I may not be the fastest into turns, I can certainly power out of them and have the advantage on the straights. The main thing that kills it is the heft. I'm working on lightening up the car without gutting it and shifting some of the weight balance toward the rear. I'd like to take it to the road coarse some time. When is the VIR event? I might move back to the east coast in a few months.

I could but its not going to do much for me as I'm already at the limit of the stock blower. Running more boost will just generate more heat than power. I still have 4 stock cats but I guess if I wanted I could lean it out a bit and add somem timing while running 100 unleaded.

This will be interesting. The T88's dyno chart is probably quite peaky unless you have serious porting. Got a chart?

how is the lag? what do u consider as redline in your streetport?
i have been thinking that t78 or t88 with large street port is the only way to go if u are upgrading. Look around...anyone making serious power has one of these turbos.
