Rematch: RX7 vs Supra

geez, at least tell your FD buddy to get a midpipe, intercooler, and Pettit ECU and crank the boost to 13 psi, that way it's a little more even vs. a Supra running 17 freakin pounds...these cars are so choked off with the cat and tiny little IC
when I put the mp on my car and cranked the boost to 13 (14 on race gas) I could run with 350 rwhp cars from a high speed roll....no way before
btw, my Pettit ECU is for sale (*hint*)

Supra's are highway monsters. Not surprised that you pulled on him that hard at all. He'd probably take u off the line, and i know he would in the twisties. Nice kill though, it's not easy to beat a 7
While this post is still up I would like to add a recent run:
Cold night after removing some interior panels and finding an entire hose disconnected (fairly large one on my apexi intake) I reconect it I was driving my car and noticing it was substantially faster with that hose connected properly. I didnt know a disconnected hose on the intake could make a difference but I felt it big time.
Anyways we ran off a 2nd gear roll I think, might have been 1st. Well I stuck with him thru 2nd and third and unfortunatly due to traffic we shut down. Could it be that the disconnected hose really made that much of a difference? I guess so. Either that or the cold air is reacting as a front mount for my stock twins lol.
I will try to get another run in with him maybe on camera and feed you guys with this and the information.
I know this is important to you guys considering we are both premier drivers it allows Supra and 7 owners an idea of how our cars react against each other with some minimal BPU's. (nearly stock form)
PS. Just would like to say the car is running very strong lately I beat a 03' cobra the other day I will post this kill asap.

That should be a decent race if the 7 raises the boost...i know I ran my Supra on stock twins at the track and went a 12.0 with an exhaust, 22pnds, race gas, and a stock auto n stall... im not 100% sure what the 7 would do, but i know on the highway it should even itself out a little bit more!
well if you go around 14 psi with no cats and that ecu. Just might as well get a clutch. I did the same mods with a fuel pump and i have to buy a new clutch. once i do i will get my dyno run and let you guys know how it runs. It really sucks i can feel the power ready to go i just can't use it.
