I met up with some friends for dinner last night at the cheesecake factory. Afterwards we decided to go to a bar to listen to a band and have some drinks. On the way a yellow Ram SRT10 pulls up. He kept gassing it and weaving through traffic. The truck was loud, sounded like it had an exhaust. Traffic was too heavy for a couple miles, but then it finally opened up. I dropped it into 2nd at about 50, heard him get on it, so I punched it. I easily pulled a car on him and slamed third. Had to get in front of him because of cars in my lane. Then had to shut down because of traffic. As I passed him I noticed the truck still had the dealer window sticker, so the guy probably just bought it. The funny thing is I am on stock pullies right now! I took my pullies off to take the car in for some warranty work and haven't put them back on yet.

 

Not a big suprise there. Those trucks are mid/high 13's with terrible aero.

Of course, the fact that it was only ca carlength behind AND it can tow your car to the track is the real advantage, isn't it?

Haha, i beat one of those around this tight sweeping turn onto the highway in my vert once. Haha he was so pissed!
