Me vs. porsche boxter

I was on my way home last night from buy a new boost guage from a guy. I had just gotten off the freeway and I pull up to a light on and this guy with a friend probably in his early 30's give me a look like what a piece of sh*t. I figured a guy in a porsche wouldn't want to race but when the light turned green he took off so i hit. I pulled atleast a car on him through first and about 2 1/2 through second. I only took second to about 6-6500k rpm then I slowed back down. We were now at the next light. I looked at him he looked back and just glared at me turned the corner and got on it. I just laughed. It was only a boxter nothing special not even a boxter s. Not my best kill but never beaten a porsche before.

I have a 93 3'' dp and 3'' cb

The boxter's are not very fast at all, i've done a few freeway pulls with a yellow one i alway see. They don't stand a chance against a FD

I think when they pulled up by you, the one guy said to the other "holy ****, you know what that is?" , "no...." , "dude that is an rx-7, don't even try racing him, he'll whoop your ***" , "Yeah right! watch this!"

That is how it went.

A buddy of mine just bought one.
It's the lower HP one 240 and I think 2800 lbs. It's kinda peppy. Now the 280 HP boxter s at that weight is a good match for an FD.

nice car.

i got completely wasted by a 911 tt. i know for a fact that the car wasnt stock just by the sound that thing made. ive driven one before and it was nothing like the car i drove. and yes, the boxter sucks. i dont remember now how many ive beaten...all of them badly

yes, i still think a stock FD will edge out the previous boxster-s but the new ones out now??? prob not..

i think they will have no problem beating stock FD's..too bad most FD's on the road are either lightly modded or single turbo..

the only time a boxster can give you a hard time is on the track

slow as hell, but those things are so well balanced from the factory that a competent driver can bother the hell out of you :o
