Race Night: Supra vs Z06, M3, WRX, G35, 350Z

Here is a little vid I put together for your viewing pleasure of my buddy’s and tonight’s runs. You will see a 1995 BPU Supra hardtop N/A with a JDM 2JZGTE swap going up against a 2002 Z06 with headers, intake, and drag radials. Also a bolton G35, Bolton 350Z, M3, and WRX which had a fmic and other boltons.

Enjoy my friends:

Nice runs!

But the USDM 2jz-gte's are rated to have more power. So i dont see why people swap in JDM 2jz's.

Dude, LOSE that rap crap music & let people hear the powerplants - that is ALWAYS the best part (not baggy pants homey music).

Thank the Lord for that awesome Z06 V8 sound - it was just enough to keep that rap at bay.

Why put down other peoples music? What a way to stereotype people, by the music they play or listen to.

I agree, he should have turned the music down during the actual runs but the music is fine and shouldnt be criticized. Im into all types of music so its not like im trying to defend "rap".

Would i've been in the right if i said country music is stupid, bunch of rednecks who sing the same **** just enough to sqaure dance to? No, because its music certain people love, that they listen to. If we all listened to the same music, this world will be boring as ****.

And no, not all "rap" stars or listeners wear the baggy pants yo with the bandanas saying yo yo yo yo i gots to get mine yo. I listen to hip hop mostly and i dress far from that.

No, I was not joking & I could care less if you "take offence" to the fact I can't stand rap. 90% of rap (if you want to call ryming while talking, "music") utilizes degenerative lyrics toward woman (beating/slapping them, etc), butchered slang so "morphed" that most intelligent people can't even understand it, and repetitive drones that rival the intelligence of a worm.

Alas, I digress. The thread was about a few pulls from a Z06 & I'm glad it won. If you wish to discuss the race, go ahead. The "music" discussion is over.

Butchered slang ? I hate to start a fight but you're pointing yourself out to be one of "those guys".
By that I mean one of "those guys" that think they're so intellectually prone in regards to the rest of the world, thinking that they're smarter than everyone and 'obviously' are right all the time.
90% of rap ?
Buddy, don't bust statistics that you don't know. The fact that you can't understand the slang is soley because of your lack of ability to adapt to the different dialects of our society. And don't tell me that ebonics isn't a dialect either. Any idiot with any appreciation for linguistics should know that. Because the mainstream culture of today dictates that rappers must have "hoes, bitches, a glock and ice" doesn't mean that's the actuality of the genuine culture of rap, does it? Take into example the street car culture. "You own a yellow RX-7. You must be a little newb *** asian boy that races on streets and endangers peoples' lives." Appreciate that? It happens that I'm not only from the car culture but from rap culture as well. And its inane/ignoramous comments from pretentious people like you that destroys the essence of culture as it is. Case in point.

Well thank you all for the feedback. This is the first time I use a media video editor software and I am learning how to use it. Next time I wont insert a music track in the background.

I am sorry if I offended anybody with the music I chose. But I actually tend to stay away from the hip hop commercial mainstream stuff. I also enjoy listening to all types of music that I can feel from the heart.

More videos to come guys! My cousin is working on modifying his RX7. He should be done soon. Thanks again.

No, its ignorant clowns like you that think rap is a "dialect". Are you F'ing kidding me?

Do us a favor, get a dictionary & use the word "prone" correctly (as in, "You are more prone to having a less fulfilling career speaking the 'rap dialect' of the English language.")

You are from "the car culture"? Isn't that special! Well Mr. Schumacher, why don't you get back on topic regarding the original post instead of making some ill fated attempt to convince me rap is a dialect of the English language?

NEWB? Check the Forum join dates - you are 2 years in the rear view mirror Genius.

Lastly, I could care less if you think I'm some asian kid racing people - it further exemplifies your ignorance by a lack of doing your homework (ie checking someone's profile before spouting off on a defense of rap lyrics - as though that were actually an important topic).

Nice profile BTW. "wktiger"....very imformative. Geezus, Social Security won't make it until 2017......no way .

Its no big deal & my apology for attacking your rap background music. You did post a cool video & I thought the quality was darn good - better than I've done (which is basicly ZERO thus far). See ya.

I'm sorry if I went off on a tangent because of this guy here.

Yellow R1, please excuse me for getting you all fired up. I just pointed this out because if someone was making fun of FD's or rotaries on some car forum I'm sure you would be somewhat offended, but that's because we're both FD fanatics right? I didn't ever say that rap was a dialect. Rather, I explicitly stated that "ebonics" is a dialect, and when it all comes down to it, that's what you were ridiculing. And damn, you must have been pretty pissed to start coming down on an "english idiom", if you haven't heard of that before. I don't understand why you would expect me to take the time and bandwith to look up your profile- as if i give a **** about you, and notice (for your own enjoyment) that you are some corporate manager or product of a 20 year corporate heiarchy. way to show off the irrational side-effects of elitist society. as if you know damn well something you don't. and when you find the time please understand the difference between criticism of ideas and concepts, and criticism of the person.
