These are 1/4 mile times for stock srt-4 and 300zx na.

1990 Nissan 300ZX 7.1 15.5
2003 Dodge SRT-4 5.6 14.1

Even if the Srt-4 was a sorry driver, the power difference is too great. It would have to be a 300zx tt to be a match. A Srt-4 was neck and neck with my fc turbo at about 100mph from a 40mph roll. A 300zx na was a good match for my 91 na rx-7 back then. my old 95 civic hatchback si with intake, headers, exhaust, cam gear, killed a 300zx. You obviously follow what people say to much, have respect for cars man. Its like I know the 7 is the ****, but it has its ups and downs like every other car. And you gotta be realistic in comparisons.

anything is possible on the street.

My close friend just bought a red 05 srt4 3 weeks ago from friday, they dont even make them anymore and he diddnt want a used one... so he went to maine to get one of the VERY last new ones.

Well with about a week or so of stick driving under his belt we roll up to a light last friday and next to us rolls a red integra with an exhaust. The kid looks over and the drivers make eye contact. In the integra its a guy and 2 girls in the srt its my friend, my girlfriend, and I.
Green light and they roll out normally then the integra guns it, my friend guns it in 2nd, (when he "gets on it" he dosent mash the gas... you cant ease on the accelerator and be a threat...) Anyways hes boosting at speeds like hes got twin t88s... and the integra walks him by 3-4 cars. Pretty emarassing.

At the next light. We roll up to them again, the girls are laughing at us and the guy probably just thought he was the king of the world. After loosing, my friend then shouts from his window, your cars a peice of ****, mine is faster, blah blah "you had to beat the hell out of it to race me" and the kid is calm im surprised he wasnt spitting honda lover type **** and all he says in a cool way was, "well you diddnt pass me". LOL at that point we all were laughing at SRT4 boy. I BEG for him to let me drive against him, but he refused, ive driven his car before, im sure i can handle turbo cars...

Green light he goes normally so dose integra, then all of a sudden im inside an srt4 that is puling a ricer flyby on some harmless guy. To beat this kid all he had to do was put in 2nd and floor it, easy 5 car kill. +1 to integra driver, he probably had a threesome that night.

You obviously follow what people say to much, have respect for cars man. Its like I know the 7 is the ****, but it has its ups and downs like every other car. And you gotta be realistic in comparisons.
+1 to you, i think that goes to all people who dont know what they are talking about. Have you seen DSM guys?

Point is, not everyone can drive what they own.

FWD cars have awful time hooking up and you say this SRT-4 is lightly moded right? To me that explains a time of 14.1. Do you know the trap speed by any chance?

I'm thinking that whatever made you boost below 10 psi happened AFTER you raced your friend. A mildly modded FD @ 10 psi should pull on a lightly modded SRT-4 just as you described.

Our cars really need the boost. I dynoed my car at 6 psi before and I had a whopping 189 RWHP (IIRC). Now at 12 psi (and some more mods catback, CAI, and IC) I'm somewhere in the vicinity of 300 RWHP (enough to give stock C6's a run for their money).

Trust me I HATE SRT-4's cuz of their owners, but that stupid looking car is fast.

Stock a NA Z runs around 15.1 with some going as low as 14.7 all stock. A stock TT should run around 13.8. A H22 should have a hard time with the NA, the TT has something seriously wrong with it...

SRT-4 ride quality is crap... i rode in my friends for 20-30 minites and my *** started hurting like crazy because it was so rough (stop thinking nasty guys).

Where Im at theres about 6-7 Srt's out every Friday night of all different speeds.. Im basically stock non seq- turbos running at 12 psi with full exhaust intakes nothing major... I can easily hang with the Stage 2's... Stage 3's arent much faster from a roll but at the track I can run the same times as them but I have no tires at all maybe 30% tread if that...

On the topic of SRT-4s...I ran into one tonight and pulled it! He pulled out from a gas station behind me. His car looked clean, a body kit but a subtle one. I could hear his BOV over the sound of the wind and my car, I had the sunroof open and the windows down. The BOV sounded like metal dragging on concrete though . Anyways we come up to this straight road and, if I ever speed in my Rx, its on THIS road...I know it very well.

As we came around the corner, he started pulling up close behind me like he was going to try and pass me..I downshifted to second and put down the pedal! 2nd was gone fast and I did a perfect 3rd shift, he was slowly falling back but nowhere near as fast as I thought he would! I topped out 3rd and started to slow, I had him by 2-3 carlengths. I was pretty impressed how well he kept up!

Heres my cars current setup, the car was @ 90C when I hit the gas-

Downpipe
RB Duals
Apexi Intakes
PFC + Commander

Everything else is stock, and the PFC is untuned and using the base map right now....Im waiting to find a nice intercooler, then I will be adding that then a tune...and hopefully will be stopping there since this is my DD.

Srt4's are not that bad it's the owners that make it look like a super car go on the Srt forums and you will see how many stupid people slap a big turbo on a stock engine and blow it with minor mods you can see a nice gain in power but the car with stock suspension is crap on the turns overall is a good car but the sound it makes could be better lol.
