I was taking my 1985 GS out for a ride to a local garage to price out tune-ups etc. (It desperately needs lubing and tuning, 126k without it makes one tired and sore) While I'm at a red light at the base of a large hill. A Civic with all sorts of performance mods and a resonated exhaust pulls up next to me and revs into the 6000 rpm range. He screams out at the green light, while I actually go the safely. As we're mounting the hill, he wants to show off his shifting prowess and immediately pops the clutch. I glance back to see his $40k+ car go rolling backwards into an F-350.
I actually felt sorry for the car that it was being driven by such a dumb driver.

neon's are jokes!! lol.. i think its funny all the guys who talk smack w/ the SRT-4's,
they last one race, and then after that, its all downhill, gotta fix this, fix that.. might as well be built by ford, not dodge.. lol.

^^^ this guys smoking crack. yeah, I hate srt-4's as much as the next guy, (probably more), but how is a guy with an RX-7 gonna try and badmouth another car's reliability??? and for the record, neon's and srt-4's SUCK!
Hey, I've got a e46 M3 and a FD touring and I love SRT-4's. It must be that you guys hate the type of drivers in SRT-4's from the reading I've done in numerous stories.
I actually appreciate a domestic that is FWD and can pull off a 13.9 1/4 mile stock. I'm in Detroit and drivers and car styles are a kind of enigma because of our supporting the local automotive companies.
I do my fair share of auto-x and it great to see Neon ARC or R/T's (no turbo) pass Corvette's and 350Z's at the track. I do a TON of drag racing and the SRT's get faster every year. I had an Evo (and 4 DSM's) and I was always very wary of an SRT that wanted to race on the street.
