Long awaited burn. fdvscherokee

My co-worker drives a jeep grand cherokee and he treats it like its the best car ever.
When i told him i was buying an FD he immediatly told me he could smoke "That hurtin ***** car" i just laughed and went on.
for about 3 months he told me he could beat my car everyday. untill today.
I got the car a couple of weeks ago and had clutch problems so i was fixing it up.
i got it finished today and took er for a spin.
And what do you know, here comes mr.jeep cherokee and we both stoped at the light and i looked at him and he looked at me and we both smiled (i knew i could take him so i was gonna toy with him) the light turns green,
And he takes off like a bat outta hell and i just proceed normally for about 2 seconds then i gun it a bit and i catch right up. he looks suprised and he rolls down his window he says "HEY WANNand i roll down mine and A RACE" with a big grin on his face and i just laugh and say "OKAY" He drops it hard into second and his jeep starts booking it. I was however in 4'th gear and i just pushed the gas to the floor and i made his jeep my bitch in no time flat.
I slow down and wait for him to say somthign smart he says "Man i dropped it into second, you?" and i said "I was in 4th the whole time" he just laughes and boots off to the right. i go left

Man i cant wait for work tomorrow so i can rag his ***.

since he doubted the Seben, you can never let him live it down.

everyday you remind him of the fact your car is faster without even trying.

would have been pretty funny to glaze over that brand new clutch or blow an apex seal, all for the glory of racing a jeep.

Tell your friend with the Jeep to lay off the drugs.
With a couple exceptions, Jeeps are slower than hell.

There are MANY different grand cherokees. They came with 6(4.0L I think) cylinders or 8(4.7L v8's I think). Then there was the 5.9 limited v8 grand cherokee, which at one point was the fastest SUV. That didn't last long. Now they have
some with bigass 5.7L Hemi V8s and then the SRT8 with the 6.0L V8, which is now the fastest production SUV.

Which one did you race? If it was an SRT8 or 5.9 limited then he has room to talk smack, anything else and he is just an idiot.

^^^ SRT8 is a ******* rocket. It would probably beat a stock FD.

The SRT-8's version runs low to mid 13's stock, not bad for a 4800-lb awd SUV. My best friend has one and we've raced many times. Not much challenge for my FD with streeport and all the bolt-ons but its great for racing ricers and the mustang/camaro crowd.

After he mentions he downshifted to 2nd, you should've replied, "So are we we going to race or what?"

There's always exceptions....regardless, racing a Cherokee in a FD, isn't cool or a kill.
