Long awaited burn. fdvscherokee

My co-worker drives a jeep grand cherokee and he treats it like its the best car ever.
When i told him i was buying an FD he immediatly told me he could smoke "That hurtin ***** car" i just laughed and went on.
for about 3 months he told me he could beat my car everyday. untill today.
I got the car a couple of weeks ago and had clutch problems so i was fixing it up.
i got it finished today and took er for a spin.
And what do you know, here comes mr.jeep cherokee and we both stoped at the light and i looked at him and he looked at me and we both smiled (i knew i could take him so i was gonna toy with him) the light turns green,
And he takes off like a bat outta hell and i just proceed normally for about 2 seconds then i gun it a bit and i catch right up. he looks suprised and he rolls down his window he says "HEY WANNand i roll down mine and A RACE" with a big grin on his face and i just laugh and say "OKAY" He drops it hard into second and his jeep starts booking it. I was however in 4'th gear and i just pushed the gas to the floor and i made his jeep my bitch in no time flat.
I slow down and wait for him to say somthign smart he says "Man i dropped it into second, you?" and i said "I was in 4th the whole time" he just laughes and boots off to the right. i go left


Man i cant wait for work tomorrow so i can rag his ***.

would have been pretty funny to glaze over that brand new clutch or blow an apex seal, all for the glory of racing a jeep.

All though this is a funny story im curious to know how a stock fd would do against a new srt-8 jeep??? Might be interesting those things are quick.

I got both a jeep cherokee and a FD. trust me a FD is way quicker.

There are MANY different grand cherokees. They came with 6(4.0L I think) cylinders or 8(4.7L v8's I think). Then there was the 5.9 limited v8 grand cherokee, which at one point was the fastest SUV. That didn't last long. Now they have
some with bigass 5.7L Hemi V8s and then the SRT8 with the 6.0L V8, which is now the fastest production SUV.

Which one did you race? If it was an SRT8 or 5.9 limited then he has room to talk smack, anything else and he is just an idiot.

^^^ SRT8 is a ******* rocket. It would probably beat a stock FD.

The SRT-8's version runs low to mid 13's stock, not bad for a 4800-lb awd SUV. My best friend has one and we've raced many times. Not much challenge for my FD with streeport and all the bolt-ons but its great for racing ricers and the mustang/camaro crowd.

HAHA I realize it was a hurtin kill but most defenetly one i will remember. but to make up for it i did beat a typeR Integra today. wasent very exciting. i just beat him hands down hah.
i realized he was joking around but **** EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY he was joking. i had to show him.
lol i wanted to downshift to 2'nd but i didnt wanna hurt my new clutch haha.
