(This is a compilation, It was a night i took my car out, and just cruised around looking for races and people to have fun with)

(Note: It is a stock 2001 Z06 Corvette. 385 hp, 385 ftlbs. Nothing more nothing less)

I was cruising down a street in riverside, and I stopped at this light, I looked across the street and there was a Mustang GT (2002ish to 2004 ish) stopped in the left turn lane that was revving his engine at me. Okay, youre going the wrong way buddy, was the first thought i had. But he made a slow U turn, and i could hear my friend on the radio say "He wants a race bad, show him what youve got!" I pull up next to him in first gear around 25 or 30, and he honks and punches it. He never had a chance. Took it to 40 in first, shifted to second, ran it up to 75 shifted to 3rd, took it to 95, and i hear my friend again, "Dude, he made a right turn after you both took off as soon as he could" Ooops...lol. Well he DID try and race me, though im not sure why he would have jumped out of it that fast. At least go to the end so you can see who you raced and say whats up...anyways, next kill of the night.

I went over to the races cuz my buddy called me and said there was a guy that wanted to race me (Note, I went to the street races a total of 3 times, and luckily didnt get caught, yes its stupid, no i dont do it anymore, moving on.) He was in an S13 that he was in the process of tuning an SR20Dett for. He said he was running about 13-14 psi. I said alright, im game, and showed him that i was stock. We lined up at the start, and had a buddy set up the tree. Tree went green and i launched a little too high, and spun my tires till about 30mph. I shifted to 2nd around 40 again, kicked it into 3rd around 90-95, and 4th to slow me back down. At the start when i spun my tires, he was actually right next to me, and we were head to head for a few seconds. When my tires hooked up, and i shifted to 2nd, he started dropping back like there was no tomorrow. When i finished the 1/4 mile they had marked off, i was about 3 cars ahead of him. I parked, and he followed. He got out, and said "That car is frickin sweet. If you crash that im going to have to kill you." I thanked him for the compliment, and the race, and got back in to go have some more fun (nothing else there wanted to race)

On the Freeway on the way home (this was me getting killed! surprise!) A Black Lamborghini Diablo pulled up next to me and honked, I looked over, decided ah what the hell, might as well have some fun even if i will get my *** kicked. So i honked back, dropped it down to 3rd, and punched the gas. He did similarly, and in about 5 seconds, the race was over with him 4 cars ahead of me. I knew that i got walked, but what the hell, im out having fun, why not? He slowed down, I gave him thumbs up, and he did the same, obviously impressed that i would even try and race him. It was fun just the same, win or lose, i just want to have fun. So its all good.

About that time i realized it was 330am, and that I had school the next day. And that if my parents caught me sneaking out in the car that i would get it big time. So i drove home (rather quickly) and parked it, and snuck back in my window. I got about an hour worth of sleep, and then slept through most of my classes. Good times, ill tell you that.

 

Haha, be careful behind the wheel of that car.

OK Let make sure I understand... you took your car out... a Z06...raced until about 3.30 AM when you realized you had school the next day (please tell me you go to college - if its high school I'm gonna puke)... and had to sneak back in through your bedroom window so your parents wouldn't catch you. Did I get that right???

At that point i was still in high school, and I was a 17 year old Junior. NOW I'm going to an auto tech school. Lol, thank you Super 77. yes, fun times. I havent done anything like that in the last couple months, anyone interested in cruising? I get out of school at 2am...Perfect time for causing trouble. Hehehe

Whats the fun in that? If I dont drive the car the way it was meant to be driven, whats the point in having it? Meh. Just my opinion. If its not your cup of tea, then dont do it. Im not going to say your opinion is wrong, just not what i want to do, but i have no intentions of dying yet.

did u mean sr20det? i never heard of a twin turbo sr, just making sure i didn't somehow miss an engine nissan produced. lol

 

hoping for a type-o but someone out there might be dumb enough to twin turbo an sr20. waste of time on a 4 banger but whatever.

OBVIOUSLY its his parents if he would be in trouble if he was caught. U guys should read better. Dont hate on him, ima teen too and i would most def take my dads zo6 for cruises at night too if he had one, and most of u guys would also. I believe weve had this argument before with the ferrari story so no need to bring it up.
As for the DIABLO u raced, that car is one of my most favorite cars ever, the 2002...i think....VT is amazingly sexy. and they are fast and have an unbeatable noise.. Here in Glendale there is one guy whose got no cats, exhaust, and intake. SOUNDS AMAZING. I could here the car on the freeway as im pumping gas in my car.

 

Go **** yourself, then read my other topics on here. My car jack ***. But i would get in trouble for being out that late since im on their insurance.
