NA verse 260hp acura TL type S

im posting this here in case not everyone reads the timeslips/dyno 2nd gen forum. well i went to the dragstrip to run my car. i lined up against a acura TL type S, which from what ive read has 260HP. so i thought id get smoked, but i won with a 16.1 and him a 16.4 (4800ft elevation), which after looking up times is about right becuase i seen 15-15.5 for the acura. i was a little surprised. another not so kill of a kill was a 40th anniversary mustang which i lost to by 3 lengths. not bad considering it has a v8 and i got this lil 1.3. that was my fun for the night

Wow, he must not of had traction control on and had one shitty launch. Those car's are decently quick and easy to launch with the traction control. I dont mean to **** on your parade, but you got lucky.

its pretty amazing because my cousin has a 03 type-s.. and he runs high 14s.... so... unless the guy doesnt know how to drive or something is wrong with the car.. he shouldnt be running higher than mid 15s...

these times of 16.1 and 16.4 are at 4800ft elevation. so subtract about a second for a sea level time.i pulled on him the entire way so if his car was faster, it would have caught me by the end, but i pulled on him the whole way slowly. he may have gotten a bad start compared to me, wont deny that, but i was driving and couldnt see that. and dont forget my NA isnt close to stock
