Rental Car Fun

Well, I was in Detroit for one night on business and was driving my rental car (Celica GT) from the airport to the hotel. It was about 1:30am, I was tired, and just wanted to get to my hotel. Well, I was driving along when I see this probe do quick U-turn and start pacing me. After a few min we stop at a redlight and he asks if I want to run. I guess he didn't know I was in a rental car. Anyway, light turned green and I slammed the gas and we basically were equal until about 60mph, when I started to slowly pull away. The whole time I was kind of laughing to myself and thinking how slow this car is, but when I looked over and he was so serious I busted out laughing and had to stop.
