My SA vs. new mustang GT

Mods: 80 Rx-7 with a bridgeported 12A, holley 650 and Garret turbo.

Was driving home from a night out with my girl when a mustang pulled up next to my car at the light of Las Vegas and Pecos. He looked over and said nice ricer. I just looked at him and said thanks, did your mommy buy you that? He got upset and started reving his engine. I looked at him reved my engine once to let a small flame out. The light went green and I just stood there. My girl looked over at me a little panicked and said go already. I took off and caught up to him fairly quickly. got ahead of him one car length, shot a flame out and just disappeared. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him do a U-turn.

I got up to about 110 in 3rd boostin 15lbs when he gave up on me. We didn't go to far probably no more then a 1/2 mile I really didn't measure it out. It kinda felt like a fast and the furious moment.

I ran an 11.87 @ 127 before the rebuild. I had snapped the eccentric shaft and couldn't go above 6000 rpm. Still have not returned to the track to see what it does now. HP wise I've never taken it to the dyno but I can keep up with +300 cars.

1) because SA/FB's weight much less.
2) turbo FC came with around 200 at the wheels which equates to a mid-low 14 second 1/4 mile pass...
3) he states he has a TURBO 12A thats bridge-ported

thats a quick SA! a boosted 12a bridgeport with a Holley 650 will definitely eat up a mustang! you need to get that thing dyno'd. I feel sorry for you about gas though it must eat it up.

Sorry no pics yet, currently in Germany so it's sitting at home with a friend. Ya, gas wise it's horrible. I get only about 8-10 miles to the gallon. with no boost. Less when I boost of course, so in the course of a fun night I'll leave with a full and have to fill up before I get back.
