My mk4 vs. gsxr 750

We had a small meet and I ran a bike. It was a 05 gsxr750. This quote was taken off of our local board.

[quote]
We went from 60. Indy was in 3rd and I was in 2nd. When his car was on boost (3rd gear), he would pull away. Unfortunately, his 4th gear is too tall, and he fell out of his powerband. That's when I would pull ahead. We never did get a clean run where Indy could get into 5th, which he said was real strong.

Cliffnotes: Indy's car is faster, but gearing is off.
[quote]

I had a passenger in the car and a **** load of gas. I had him in third gear easy and he caught up and put a car on me in fourth. This happened about three time, but I couldn't top out 4th because of traffic. I blew an I/C pipe and pulled over to fix it. We ran again and this time I had him in third and fourth and has I topped out 4th with about 1/2 car lead I blew the ******* I/C pipe again. I believe that I was leaking a little the first few times and the last run I was on full until it blew off. I plan on running again.

My car refuses to be dyno'ed. I tried at the rx7 store and put down 450rwhp but couldn't boost past 20lbs. The same thing happend at MSL a local place but I put down 470hp at 20lbs. I'm sure that it's about 500rwhp at my current tune @ 22/23lbs.

This happened about a week ago.

This was taken from our local web site written by Radkins he puts down 430rwhp in his fd.
[quote]
He would get me by about a car in 3rd off the bat, I would barely pull in 4rth. We did a run starting in 4rth I barley pulled in 4rth and got walked from 145-160 (gearing). Good ****! I was running 18lbs and he was at 22-23."
[quote]

My car seems to run very, very strong as I surprize about everything that I race. I run guys that "should" on paper be faster than me but some how I win. I just checked into it and the bike that I raced traps into the 130's fairly easy. Thanks for the trade offers guys, but this car suites be great.

Those pics of your car are awesome. Nice and clean looking supra. I like them better without the body kits. You have good taste.

I feel the same. That is probly one of the nicest Supra's I've seen. No rice whatsoever. Simple, but classy and very mean looking. Nice car. Trade ya an FB for it.

I figured maybe it was because you ran a AEM EMS? Or do you? All of the supras we have at the shop (Boost Logic and Performance Motorsports) run AEM's.
