Hey Scottie,

Was Sinsac ahead of David when he missed 4th or was he already being pulled?

I didnt get to see the race itself, but according to Sinsac it was a pretty close race. I got the impression neither was really pulling, its just when he missed 4th David would pull ahead. He said he will use his nitrous next time to help spool the turbo. I figure it will be close because of power-to-weight.

It was actually pretty close. Where I would actually pull ahead is where our high RPM range comes into play. I got a little jump on him from the start but nothing worth talking about. When he uses the N20 it should be interesting. I noticed that he would have to shift way earlier than I would. So i would see him shift about my 6500 rpm range and I would be able to take it up to 8k. with this 1.5k rpm advantage I would gain about 1/2 car. By the tpp of third his front bumper was at my rear. But that may be because he miss shifted. But either way, up till the top of 3rd, it was the closest / best racee I have ever had..

If he uses N20 on the next one, I will be brake boosting

Nah, I don't need the 20B to beat the supra. I have raced plenty of 800rwhp supras on the street with my maroon car. Never had any problems putting 4-5 cars on them from 45-150mph. If everything being equal (running 28-30psi of boost and n2o) It should be a fun race *if* I do decided to get my maroon car running again. My maroon car is just as street legal as your silver bullet.

So in other words, we probably would never see this race because you are alwasy too busy working on customers' cars to give a damn about your own...

Here's an idea!... Take a weekend off, run (or drive) over to the chinese dudes working on your manifold. Sit there until they are done. install it, tune it, and come stomp on a Poopra!

You have a pad to crash at when you are ready...Also, don't forget the BBQ on the 28th...The saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Starts at 10 and goes to 4pm...The night before (27th from 6pm - 10pm) we storm the drag strip "rotary style".....And our strip has recently been redone so it's like new

Hey Steve, This is Cyan(MB FD you tuned when David was last down there) I Figured out why my car wasn't holding full boost at redline...One of my Intercooler couplers was barely starting to come off. and with enough preassure in there i guess it would leak a little. I tightend it up and whalah! full boost to redline. I also flushed my coolant ,and now I rarely see over 89 degrees while ripping it through the hottest part of the day.

Still need to dyno though
