Talking My First Death...800+ HP Supra

This was kind of a pointless race but it was fun! Got to meet the owner of the Killer Supra that runs 9s in the 1/4...

We went from a 30 roll and before my turbo could spool he already had 2 cars...We didn't even make it to 100mph before we both realized it was not even worth it

We did 2 runs....(Don't now why) and on the second one I missed 3rd and we didn't even go...But get this! He did a ******* wheelie! Yeah, his ******* car popped a wheelie...From what we could see from my car his left front tire came off the ground a few inches...Freakin insane.

THEN I got to race "The Gray One" which supposedly has 550 to the wheel....We pulled from 2nd through 3rd and and I was already pulling him by a car in 3rd...I shut it down half way in 4th...Then we did another one and the same thing happend...

After the "races" we went back to the parking lot and he said he missed 4th both times. Will try to run him again and see how close we are when he doesn't miss shift.

I know the gray one got some video from his car. Would love to see it. Don't know the guys that well but Sleeper69 does. So may Scottie can get it

I really wished you guys could have seen that 800+ supra...******* thing is INSANE FAST! Honestly. I didn't mind loosing to him

On the 30mph run you should have stipulated no brake boosting LOL.

He was using a 75 shot to spool up...I think I will try it again with him and tell him no bottle and see if I can at least get stay 10 cars behind.

Im picturing 9 second cars I have seen at the track.
With wheelie bars, parachutes with stripped interiors
with roll cage and monster drag slicks.

So this 800hp 9second supra is actually driven on the streets..

anyways.. at least you spanked one Supra, even though he said
he missed the 3rd->4th shift. which I consider the easiest shift
to make.

No, it was from the initial dig...we were going 30mph and I was in 2nd. So I just assume he was too..Yeah, freking left front tire came off the ground...I would say 3-4 inches. Some crazy ****.

The other Supra, although he missed 4th, if we would have ended the race before he shifted, his front bumper would have been at my rear...

I see where our high RPM comes into play. in 2nd I pulled on him a little and I noticed that he had to shift about a second earler than I did. I took it all the way up to 8k and I gained on him each time I shifted. Pretty cool.

supras can be made VERY fast even with completely stock interior/exterior. this guy ran a 9.81 in the same car he dropped his daughter off at school with that morning

Go to supraforums and look up marko. He drove his car 6,000 miles on the street last year and has ran a 8.45. Now that is freaking crazy.

He hooked up really well, the rear end squatted down so low his exhause scraps on the ground...And yes, my other thread about the supra was tited.

"BPU Supras with stock twins are slow" I still think so.

This guy was running a T76 with n20 to get past the lag. I know he runs about 25-30 psi also.

Like I said the blue one is a monster one of the faster cars on the streets.I think the bronze supra has n2o as well they tune together. However the blue one did loose to a 911 turbo awhile back before he got it dialed in good and had no n2o.

Yeah, was crazy. didn't expect him to loose to the porshe guy...Said the porshe had him by a car and half at 135....The porshe dude was being a dick tho...He didn't want anyone to see what he had under the hood and his clutch was doing that rattly thing. Kinda like an upgraded clutch would...Must have been a ******* fast 911 tho.

Jesus, imagine what our engine would do if we could hold 30 psi without blowin it up. When i have my first loss, that will **** me off. Hopefully in a few years i can afford a tri-rotor and even out the HP difference so that i can do wheelies!

Yeah i talked to both Supra owners after the races. Sinsac (550rwhp) said that he missed 4th gear both times when he raced Apneablue. He was not using his Nitrous because it was causing issues with his ignition. Thats why he stopped at the gas station, to turn the bottle off. Sounds like it will be an even race between them once he shifts properly, as i expected. Adil (800rwhp) said that the Porsche was getting a little squirly at 120+mph. The Porsche owner thought he would have beaten the supra by more than a couple of cars LOL!! I cant wait til John Bruno gets his 300ZX TT out there. The *** kickin will commence!

Seems the general concensus is that you need approximately 100rwhp less than the supra to stick with it or pull just a little. So i guess it depends on what rwhp you produce from that turbo.

NICE. how your radiator gets cold air. Was thinking about getting a front mount but have those worries about the radiator?

those #'s seem a little low. have you tune your car with a Wideband yet?

probably going with a T72 (twins smoking)

I have the FMIC and AC condensor blocking air to the RAD but I don't have any cooling issues. I see 86C all day long. If I am sitting in traffic I see maybe 92....However, I can't run my AC running around in stop and go traffic. It make the temps creep up to 100...Well, that's as far as I let it go.

As for the #....If you look around at the GT35r dynos, my numbers are pretty dead on with most. give or take about 10hp...Plus running the water injection I loose about 10hp...Yes, I have been Steve Kan tuned.
