Talking My FD VS 911 Turbo

Okay last night I am coming home from a long day of work. I got to work at 10 in the morning and left at 9 it was dark out I was pretty tired but happy to be re-united with my baby. I get inside, let her warm up and take her home. I decide to drive a little bit more and hit the parkway. I’m driving regularly at 50mph when I see a car switching lanes in my rearview. I saw the HID lights and knew it was a Porsche. He was driving very brave and was cutting everyone off on the road like he owned it so I decided I would take the chance and just enjoy keeping somewhat close to this beautiful car if even that. It was a 911 turbo probably around 2001-02 a young guy was driving it. So I am behind him when we finally hit a light and im behind him because someone is in the right lane he's in the left. I had a feeling he would floor it at the light to “shake me off”. He does and I do too shifting lightning fast (thanks to you cuz) he’s keeping up just barely in front of me until I switch to third. I instantly start pulling and have to switch lanes and pass him about 2 cars and stop. Then he gets next to me looking upset and we run again this time in third im at around 4000 rpms. He jumps one car on me and I start pulling again about two cars and Continuing and I hit a turn and take it (Rx7’s handle extremely well when you understand its characteristics and way it reacts). I was extremely far ahead when I looked in my rearview and slowed down. I stopped tried to give him a wave but he played I don’t know who you are with his hand on the steering wheel sitting “gangsta” style. It was all good but I know if that car was driven correctly it would have been a different outcome but the point is….1 more for the 7 classics.

I am really happy with how my 7 now that it’s running. All the maintenance was more than worth it I can’t give this car up for anything. I understand that we all share on thing on this site. Our love for those 3 sided rotors that spin inside the 2 trochoid chambers designed by Mr. Wankel. It seems to never do me wrong. We really have to keep these cars in good condition and enjoy them! Much Luv, Pc guys

I will be having my vids up in a day or two for the 350z race...

you have better have some modifications done to your 7 otherwise the 911 would have walked all over you. Either that or it is was a tool driving the Porsche.

The RX7 only has HKS exhaust and HKS down pipe. The win was probably caused by error of driving on the Porsche. But for some strange reason, my cousin is only 1-2 cars behind me by 4th gear when we run and I do mid to high 12sec passes in my car. Could this be due to the new motor?

I'm not sure about the new motor part, but I can assure you that if the porsche was a 1996+turbo he would not stand a chance in a cold hell with a run in that car with those mods.

Yeah dude, I was just joking. My car isn't fast, but I had you going. I actually love Supras, I tried to buy one. Couldn't afford one though, but I will soon. How much power do you put down and where do you live? It seems you call out RX-7's in almost every post you make, you haven't found any to race you yet?

Its all good man. You have a sense of humor I like that. Well I was going to get dyno'ed today but it didn't work out. When I did I made 450rwhp @20 on pump. I' m currently tuned at 26psi on pump and I just walked a 504rwhp cobra and I had a passenger. I live in Indianapolis, my two best friends drive modded fd's (radkins 465rwhp and keynote 340rwhp). I call alot of people out because if they talk **** on the net they usually can't back it up.

Are you sure that the 911 was not the Carrera 4. It has all the same bodywork and looks identical to the turbo it's just an NA. When I was single turbo and running 10psi I raced my friends 1996 911TT and just pulled slightly. Anyways, good kill.

Ls1 fd, nice. There is a local guy that has an ls1 fc. He ran a 12.4 last tuesday. He is on the bottle now, so I'm sure he'll be in the 11's.

Thanks for playing.
