Talking My 450whp RX7 vs. 96 Ninja 650R

We just did three runs. I think he was stock but I am not sure. For the first two I was boosting 15 psi. We went from a 40mph -80mph roll and I won both by about 1/2 a car. Then I turned up the boost to 17psi and we went from a 30mph roll. I didnt brake boost at all. From 30mph to 80mph I put 1 car on him. Tomorrow we are running again and this time there will be video. I had my camera with me tonight but didn't have anyone to tape it.

Nice, but why such short runs? Not that Im advocating doing 150+ on public roads, but 40-80 must take a whole 2 seconds. If youre pulling a carlength on the bike in that short time, stretch the cars legs a bit and put some real gap on him

A 600 class bike shouldnt be giving you that good of a run unless the lag is killing you in the begining. Brake boost that bitch!.

yeah, thats what im thinking. i pulled slightly on a gsxr w/ an extended swing arm/wider rear wheel on the highway. that does slow them down, but still. im on stock turbos. you should work that guy. then again, i have instant bosot and break boosted before the run. your running a gt42r... thats a big bitch. spool it up this time.

thats a really good point. Almost every race i've seen the bike gets a quick pull right from the punch but eventually gets run down. Just imagine how much you'd beat him by if you went into triple digits. Can't wait to see the vid.

also that bike has momentum at the jump, you are gaining it throughout the run.
