My 1988 N/A RX-7 vs. 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback
I am posting this thread because I got killed. (I hope that doesn't violate this section's rules. I didn't read anything about it in the sticky.)
Basically, I thought he'd be an easy kill. Fart can exhaust. I was bored, no one on the road, thought we'd have some fun.
I pull up behind him at a light and give him a little rev to let him know I'm there. He takes off when the light turns green at a reasonable pace. I switch lanes and roll with him for just a half-second before he takes off. Sounded like he had a turbo, and I got owned.
Not surprising since my car is ~below~ stock. My header is leaking out the wazhoo... so I'm in the market for a Racing Beat Header if anyone knows where I can find a good deal on a used one, let me know.
Thought I'd share.
Cheers,

Integra LS? Or is it v-tec? If it's an LS and stock, you will destroy it. I raced a friend of mine in his integra ls, basically with intake and 2.5" exhaust all the way back, with a **** load of suspension work. From a 10 mph roll I pulled, and pulled, and pulled. Stopped racing when I got a bit into third gear, but it was no contest. I had intake, full exhaust, and a clutch kit at the time. Otherwise stock-port S4 BASE.

I have an 88 na rx7 as well, i havent raced yet but any 4cyl should be an easy race as long as it is na, that civic must have definitely been turbo or have an engine swap because 92 civics are like 120hp stock and are weak, i had a 90 civic ex 5 spd and it was slow as hell 105hp
my car is streetported , full headerback exhaust 2.5" borla catback, racing beat header, racing beat lightweight steel flywheel, centerforce dualfriction clutch, kn intake, corksport intake kit, removed 5/6 ports/sleeves, bonez maf adapter, tb mod and ported tb, magnacore 8.5mm wires

lol, I was on the highway one night, messing with this guy in a honda, he wanted to race really bad, but I didnt want to. He wouldnt leave me alone, followed me for about 2 miles, I was like, what the hell, there were no other cars in sight either direction since we got on the highway, was about 1am. I went to 3rd, and he had me by probably 15 cars by the time we let off, was kinda commical. THem hondas are tricky with their easy, cheap engine swaps.
