Ok so we're on our way back from my storage place (more appropriately named the rotary engine graveyard). I'm driving in front with my friend riding shotgun. DREYKO is rolling behind us following back to my place. But all of a sudden he decides he wants to go so he lined up going maybe 45 mph or so. I went ahead and took the initiative and slammed it. DREYKO tries his luck in 5th gear, which was a bad idea, cause I crept almost a car length ahead. I hear him go back into third and it's on! I finally get up into the powerband and start pulling away. Hit the hazards for good measure, and shut it down. Very good race, he's in the process of fixing some power related problems so we'll have to go again after he's fixed them...

Oh yea almost forgot. DREYKO's mods 87 FC NA I/H/E S5 engine, TB mod.
My mods are in my sig, but I was driving a 17 foot U-HAUL rental truck, It was empty other than a broken in half door and a greasy tarp sitting in the back, but otherwise stock I think. I'd give my right arm for a video.

 

Awesome kill Gnubber. Must have been the weight reduction that helped.

 

That or the fact that N/A's are slow... most of them anyway... sorry guys, but I've come to the realization, even though I own one as well.

ok guys for the record, i wasnt trying to race him, i wanted to get him to stop because i needed to get a tps from him before he got too far to turn back around. and i wasnt pushing it because i was getting hard core breakup all over the rpm range. also this 17 foot uhaul is designed to transport all the crap you own across the country.; and it was empty. this thing prolly has about 1/2 million pounds of tourqe. so there. :p

 

1/2 million lbs of torque! Weight reduction, those Trucks can really HAUL .. ha.. ha..
