okay guys, instead of just calling BS on him, why not try to analyze it... according to this site http://www.fordlightning.com/statistics.htm a stock WRX could take a Lightning to 60. stock WRX does 0-60 in 5.4s, Lightning does it in 6.2s. a WRX with a VF34 and supporting mods could do 0-60 in about 4.5s, if not a little faster. i don't know how the mods the OP listed for the Lightning will change its performance. however, i do know that the added power will worsen its ability to launch. from 0-60, it wouldn't be a contest for the WRX (with similar drivers). from 0-70, the Lightning would probably be catching up, but the WRX would still be ahead. did he take the Lightning by four lengths? i don't know, and he did put "4?" so there's a good chance it was less. but i don't have any doubts that he could take the Lightning.

Yea he's running very conservative right now 16 psi I think on 91 pump gas... plus awd takes away more power so 350 hp to the wheels would be more on a rwd car. We just got his water/alcohol injection setup installed so he'll be taking it down to get it tuned sometime this month... looking to push 25ish psi (depends on how well the aux inj. works) Which I think is near the end of the turbo's effiecency (spelling). Regardless... even at 350hp and 350tq at the wheels... first and second gear feels insane (gotta be that torque) fells different than a rx7 with 350whp.
