killed a VR6

yestersay I was coming from store. then this jetta(like the one from F&F) got next to me in a red light, he really wanted to go at it. I just reved mine then he also thats when I heard his 6cyl. i din't go from a start because I knew mine was just gonna bog. it was a 20mph roll so whe were togeter for about 2nd and 3rd at 4th i beated by a 3/4 of a car.
the only reason i when at it was because i always pass tru that road and never see cops, and there wasn't any traffic also.

i thought that i was going to get smoked, that jetta was all riced out with body kit, rims, and a nice paint job.( the exhaust sounded like it was really fast)
Mine is an s4 n/a with a straight pipe and open air box, Also i had my 5th and 6th ports working ( did air pump mod)

never thought mine was fast.

Nice kill!..Those have like 200hp i think but they are heavy and not geared well. Try out a z24 cavalier those are fun for a stock s4 too.

179Hp 12v vr6's are not that fast especialy in a Heavy jetta.
if it would of have been a 195hp 24v VR then it would of been a kill. btw vr6 engines sound amazing.
over all congrats! 13b n/a for the win =]

VR6's only make power with boost.... and lots of it. Was originally going to be a diesel motor, so everything is strong as hell. There are a few 1000hp+ VR6's out there running 50-60 pounds of boost. My favorite motor of all time for sure, I've built a couple MK2 VR6 cars in my day. You will never find anything that sounds like the VR, either.
